number being stolen or copied, either on receipts or electronically (with those
new hand-held scanners). This happens when you physically hand your card
over to another person for processing such as at a restaurant or retail
establishment. The net result of all this is that secure-site shopping on the

non-secure area to the secure area. The shopping cart is in the secure area.
After placing the item in the shopping cart, if you wish to "Keep Shopping",

area once again to look around. If you wish to "check-out", then you proceed
with order processing entirely within the secure server.
Windows95, Windows98 & WindowsNT
Be aware that Windows utilizes a "certificate" to keep track of security and
will flash a warning when you are entering a non-secure site location from a
secure site location. This means that when you move from the store to the
shopping cart, windows will not issue any warnings. However, when you leave
your shopping cart and return to the store to browse or order more products,
Windows will warn you that you are entering a non-secure area. This does not

secure. It just means that you are going back and forth between secure and
