Since its introduction to the market in 1994, Galvan has
steadily gained a reputation as a quality piece of equipment that will
hold up to any kind of abuse that a hard-fly angler can dish out. Fully
machined from 6061 bar-stock aluminum, and anodized to a semi-gloss black
finish, both the one-side frame and push button, quick release spool on
the Galvan are fully ventilated for light weight. The spool on the reel
is counter-balanced for wobble-free rotation and features a contoured delrin
handle.
The silent retrieve and quiet, pleasing outgoing click will make you
feel like part of the river; no harsh clicking or clacking to echo off
the canyon walls here. Changing retrieve direction on the Galvan is as
easy as flipping over the clutch. This light, smooth, simply elegant reel
has to be seen and felt to be appreciated
All Galvan reels are available in semi-gloss black or green finish with stainless steel accents.
